“Not all those who wander are lost.”
-J.R.R. Tolkien

I grew up in Los Angeles and have been traveling far from home and taking pictures ever since childhood. My parents owned a stock footage company and I accompanied them around the world with my camera to places as far flung as Bhutan, Tibet, Africa, Europe, and Indonesia. After studying Art Semiotics at Brown University, I got a photo editor position in the photo department of Travel + Leisure Magazine. I was lucky enough to work with some amazing people who put tremendous trust in me to use the office Pentax 67 II and shoot some stories when the budget was too low to send a photographer. After five years of producing shoots and shooting for the magazine, I took the leap to becoming a full-time photographer and moved back to LA with my husband.

Since then, I have been fortunate to be able to make my passion for photography and wanderlust my livelihood. I’ve continued to travel and take pictures, and I have become the go-to for my friends and family to ask for recommendations on where to travel to next or where to go while on their next trip. And so was born “Those Who Wander,” an easy place for travel and photo obsessed people to get tips from a very opinionated travel photographer that has actually been to all these places.
